    I read LOTM an year back and forgot where I was. One thing I remember is that it was less than 200 chapters and there was a puppet(Or a toy maybe which was cursed, and it was one of the forbidden items stored in a forbidden place and it had escaped or something) the puppet was extremely dangerous for the reason I forgot Maybe the reason was thet it could control people Can some LOTM deep throat fan enlighten me where I was cuz I can't seem to find it

    Forgotten shore arc>>> Lotm 1st arc Didn't say shadow slave>>> Lotm But the start of shadow slave is like 10x better than lotm and its just facts. Ngl forgotten shore might just be one of the best introduction arc to a webnovel.

      Bro forgotton shore lasted like 2 volumes 💀💀 If you only compare 1st volume of both then it might be close. But 1st volume of LOTM and whole of forgotton shore? Then forgotton shore easily better.

      No cap I liked the start of LotM better, but I'm also a big fan of the mystery and thriller genre. I get that most people would get confused and not want to pick up on details like I did, but for me this means LotM has the same rewatch value as AoT, it's only on a rerun you realized how brilliant these types of stories are. And I honestly didn't like Shadow Slave as much in the beginning due to the system, but over time the author has proven it to be an integral part of the world instead of just a cheat that has been enabled exclusively for the MC like in so many other novels.

      Why do you guys always compare novels.. each novel has it's own unique characteristic.. lotm's 1st volume has so much info and foreshadowing, it's just that first time readers won't understand none of it, especially readers with a attention span deficiency, also ss lore cannot even be compared with lotm lore.. both books have their own unique qualities and the way they do things, I sincerely hope people stop comparing stuff like this

        Okay... though you got it wrong.. Adam is the one who inherited the divinity of ASG while True creator inherited his humanity but couldn't contain it so he went mad.. so technically Adam is the one getting his humanity back with enough power to contain it.. And I only believe in the Fool, Praise the Fool! 🙏🏼

    I'm not gonna lie this novel is a snoozefest before the 100th chapter mark, too much information and the 1st arc is just plain boring. A lot of the information is gonna be quintessential later on and builds a foundation for the really good power system but the first 50 chapters might just k*ll you with boredom and I'm not gonna lie, dropped the novel like 3 times before forcing myself to push through. Story does get better and the mystery aspect isn't so cliché after you pass around 120ish chapters but still at times the novel is unbearable.

      Would recommend just reading the manwha that got released recently to bypass the 50 chapters, I think it ends around the part where klein shoots down the culprit after the library chase and gets the clown potion formula. Honestly if I had known I wouldn't have bothered with the start of this novel cause its just boring and too slow.
