      The story isn't for you then. Thanks for picking it up it a shame you couldn't get into it. I was like you once it literally took me three tries before I got hooked on the novel you should try again at a later date the novel is good that I promise you.

        Well if we are being honest not everyone would enjoy the middle and latter parts of the first arc but if you get through that I should be a breeze cause that when all the fun begins everything before that was just getting rid of unnneeded baggage. I got hooked from about chapter 1( Ryu is such an arrogant bastrad that you'd feel p*ss*d if he abandoned it all and started being humble.) The beginning parts of the story although it might not seem like it the mc is far too immature and rash but you'll understand why pretty early on, but don't worry hell grow out of it and become a good MC. When you start you should read everything up until the four kingdoms tournament then decided if you still want to continue. The chapters that followed were still interesting but I remembered it being such a drag that I skipped a few of them, but it definitely picked it after that. Another thing is the mc gets needed a lot but he always over comes them and becomes stronger

    as someone who read up to chapter 1600, take my advice and everyone elses with not bothering reading this. story is mostly bland, characters are mid, fight scenes are good but thats about the only positive that comes out of this i've seen people complain about awespec novels an awful lot and this one certainly doesn't help his reputation

      Bro what are you on about? This is one of those few novel were you actually see the mc grow as a person. Personally this is awespec best work better than all his other novel and I believe that Ryu resonates with all of use as a person and a fictional character we can honestly get lost in his development. The story is good and I believe everyone should read it, but I will agree by saying that maybe the novel isn't just for you.

        fair enough. i can kind of see why my comment is stupid. my first novels were ss and ri (new to this kind of thing) so i dont really have the expertise around what makes a good novel. dont get me wrong, some parts of it are amazing (especially some of the fights) but maybe its just not for me🤷‍♂️

    I have a theory... What iff the author is the leader/founder of martial gods and the one who sealed/bind or whatever of ryu's fate star, If not I'm f*kng requesting for him to name one of higher echelons of Martial gods using his name.(Cz u know he's giving him power up and suddenly next 10+ chap nerf him again, btw I'm on chapter 1459)

    Is it worth it? Can you answer me these questions: * Mc personality * is romance good, does it even make sense or is it just for show (aka, not developed and insignificant to the story). Also, i am not a Fan of harem novels, so if the mc just goes around collecting wives likr pokemon (*cough *cough Victor walker) then i would like to know * how are the side characters * the story, is it good?, does it have many plot holes * how is the power system? * how are the fightning deacriptions? * how is the world building?

      Let big brother shadow answer your question. 1) MC personality to sum it up is very intelligent but also heavily arrogant. Going into the story I'd advise that you read the first arc, although the MC is arrogant it isn't like it comes out of know where but sometimes his arrogance is to his own detriment cause he doesn't know when to take a step back no rather he does know but refuses to do so the author has an interesting way of making the MC reflect on his actions either through his own introspective or through the points of other important characters like his wives and some memorable character which is good cause it adds to MC character development which was masterfully done. In current chapters he's still arrogant but he has learned to be more flexible and has stopped seeking problems where there should be no problems to begin with, but that doesn't mean his overall personality has changed it just means he's found a much more healthier approach to life.

      I would recommend you read all awespec novels. All of them are very good. Mc has alot if wifes like 7 or so the novel is a masterpiece nonetheless You can try reading dimensional descent mc if you want something without a harem But overall this is a great novel the fighting description is very good also

      Bro there's like 1700 chapters that's a tall order to fill. On that note check the wiki under harem they attached his women name along with their first time having s*x then other s*x scenes happened first when he reunited with Eska and isemine on the sixth heaven during the opening of the Ture heavenly path. Next was when he helped Mae during an event on the true fifth neather world and when he reunited with Elena in martial God territory. Enjoy
