Just been reading recently and haven't even reached a quarter of the novel yet but is Lex suffering from the middle child syndrome? I mean I can understand not all families are perfect and their parents probably is billions of years old so that 50 years might just be seconds. Basically they're so old time is warped for them( I think they're billions or maybe millions of years old) also if you have siblings you'll understand how obnoxious you guys can be while still helping each other here and there but d*mn does the author know how to create a title because as a plot hole I agree that I'm not🗿
I am currently at ch 160+ and I think I am eligible enough to have some opinion about this work So, for the first 90 or so chapters it's had very good potential to become something great but after 110+ chapters changed my mind completely, the novels downgrade so quickly that it becomes one of the below average work it feels like author is completely out of his mind. There are multiple reasons why it's becoming very hard for me continue But I will not lose hope and try to stay a bit more and see if it becomes better or not.
So difficult to stack chapters god d*mn it, so far got 30 ish and getting the d*mn jitters everytime I go to my collection to see whats updated, idk wether I should continue stacking or binge them all now!

To celebrate the success of The Innkeeper, as well as the new volume that you guys probably sensed will be filled with smaller yet more diverse arcs and interesting new experiences, I am kicking off a new fan-fiction event! I encourage everyone to write short stories, 1k words max, exploring a new race in the Midnight realm, new interaction between your favorite characters or anything at all you would like to see in the novel! For those of you who have had the opportunity to encounter Spong-e, you know that nothing is off limits! Tentaively, let's say the time for this event is 2 weeks. Take this time to let your imagination run wild and create the wildest thing you can in the universe of the Innkeeper! The winner will be selected based on votes (or reactions) to the short story! I think this will be super interesting!

Is there any updates on how many chapters the novel is expected to have? I've read until ~300 chapters 2 years ago. I'd like to ideally restart reading once the novel is complete
