There is so many things that are good about this novel. The writing is top tier, I doubt you’d be able to find many better than this one on this site. The world building, power system, and characters are all mad interesting. Binged the whole thing in a week. Read it.

Even though it doesn’t have the most beautiful writing, even though the majority of it wouldn’t give the heart-quenching, eye-churning moments (not to say that it fails to at certain moments), I’m just happy to have been here to witness his journey. At some point, it felt as if the novel had started moving a bit too quickly, though I quickly realized that the moments had been long overdue, only proving how immersive the characters can be. All I had wanted was to see our beloved courier happy after so long.

Novel dislikes Main dislikes: Comedy, dialogue and pacing. Side dislikes: His ability, Character writing, and story telling. Novel Likes Main Likes: Good grammar. To start this review, I will speak of what I despise the most in this novel: the comedy. Outside of being utterly unbearable, it is tasteless and boring. To unbias yourself from my opinion, reread the first ten chapters and note every instance of a joke that a: was funny, b: wasn't a gay joke, and c: didn't fly over your head on the first read. Outside of the "comedic" parts of the dialogue, Quicksave acts like an edgy Chuuninbu would if shame didn't exist. If Quicksave and every other character in the story took themselves a fraction more seriously, I most likely would not be writing this review. Every other part of the dialogue feels drawn out because of too many meaningless characters. Then fight, and back to characters with no worth speaking. Whenever I read a slow novel or watch an anime like One Piece and think, "Uhh, the pacing is so slow, " I remember this amalgamation of words and become thankful. The author tried and failed to slow down the pacing with dialogue instead of simply making some enemies powerful. I cannot burn this monstrosity to memory without a stroke. The author may have made an enemy that hindered Quicksave for more than five seconds, but it doesn't make this any better. What makes me lose any interest I could have had is his ability. It essentially removes the last bit of stress or tension from the story. It lost most of that from the consistent nonchalance from Quicksave, tying back into what I said earlier about the lack of seriousness. For the TLDR: this story tries hard to be funny and consistently fails. It feels like an emotionless piece of garbage with no soul. Quicksilver ruins any chance to save this novel because of his uncaring nature. This novel is tensionless, with meaningless conversations and shoddy fights.

Of course quicksave is an edgy nerd. Nothing else would fit a timelooper who's been forced to live for centuries. Nothing matters to him and that's a perfect way to start the novel. Humor's subjective so I guess I can understand it, but I laughed imaging some psycho maniac in an absurdly elaborate costume yell the things he does. Also, this novel has plenty of points of stress and tension since there are moment when his timestop CANT save him, but that's kinda deep into the story. You can't read a timestop novel and be mad the main character doesn't start out with any feeling of tension. Mother of Learning is one of the best novels on the site and Zorian doesn't really feel the pressure of the timestop until he finds out the truth of it. That's how every timestop works. If timestops aren't your thing, don't bother reading them or try and go into it with an open mind.

Name me one good joke in this novel, you could never.

Humour doesn’t need to be a joke. The way he talks, acts, the scenarios, the unexpected decisions, and yes the jokes, they all have a hand in making something funny. If you sincerely dislike the humour, then perhaps it’s just not for you. It’s like people, someone I like, you might not necessarily like. Maybe you didn’t catch the jokes or get the references? Th English comprehension needed for this novel is higher than your run off the mill light novel. Lot of things you gotta know beforehand.

This novel is beautiful. It's characters feel alive and their actions make sense. The setting is masterfully crafted. Ryan Romano is the best written characters I have ever seen, he has an amazing personality, as well as an absolutely perfect arc and story. The perfect run, was a great rollercoaster of Ryan's crazy runs, misfortune, sadness, joy, and entirely normal conversations with ultimate beings. I loved The Perfect Run for beginning to conclusion and hope others will find it to their liking as well.

I have nothing to say, cus everyone before me has said it all. High quality, wonderful storyline, intriguing powers. Best of all, an MC with a sense of humor.

A magnificent story in practically every aspect. One of those which will leave a strong impression and forever be part of your memory. A unique setting, with a unique story, and a unique protagonist. A near perfect mix of comedy, philosophy, action, mystery, drama, and slice of life. One of the best I have ever read and arguably one of the best paced stories. A wonderful journey with so many interesting and well written characters, each giving the story a different shade of color, each being memorable in their own way. Beautiful adaptation of real-life hardships and a post-apocalyptic Sci fie fantasy cyberpunk setting. A gorgeous and vibrant world building. A satisfying romance with bitter sweet moments and wholesomeness. And a near perfect ending that would put a smile on your face for seeing the conclusion to an epic journey and the end of multiple characters that you bonded over the course of the story. Over all, a highly recommended book for practically anyone looking for a high quality story, with an interesting plot with mysterious undercurrents and an amazing protagonist going through an exciting adventure in a post-apocalyptic world with super natural powers and advanced technology.

When reading reviews like this one, I always fear that the novel will end up not meeting my set expectations. Currently in the middle of another novel but this one is in my future reads.

Reviews, at the end of the day, are simply opinions, and thus, subjective and no subjective matter can be 100% the same as someone else's thoughts. We are all unique, after all. This is the accumulation of what I felt and saw made into words. All I can say is that it definitely deserves a chance, and I believe you most likely will enjoy it.
