What a trip, didn't expect to see this here. I've been reading this for years now. It's a great Western xianxia, not translated so a lot of the tropes are different. The protagonist is OP, but it trends towards slice of life, where the MC replaces a villain template and then just kinda does their own thing. I'd recommend it, but again it's pretty stylistically different from most translated xianxias, so expect it to feel different in ways that are difficult to put your finger on.

If you wondering whether you should read this novel or not, I say it’s worth your time. I love this novel, and I know a lot of people don’t but let me tell you why it’s good. First off it has a strong main character. Unlike many of the comments say he isn’t overpowered, at least not more overpowered than any protagonist would be. Second off, people complain this story doesn’t have an overarching plot but I think that’s what makes the story so good. It allows the story branch into multiple miniature plots at once which is equally entertaining. The novel also humorously references a lot of cliches in cultivation novels and does it well, which sets it apart from other novels. Overall I like the characters and the story is very well written. I highly recommend it, I enjoyed it a lot and I hope you do too.
I have read 60 chapters and this is my opinion.. After reading till this point i don't really feel like I want to continue , there is no plot at all I don't know what's the point of any of this? , the author need to work on more important things rly.. like "the mc goal? 'And I don't mean something like going back to his home that's really cheap' and the plot? There is no plot here at all , i know it's just 60 , but the problem is .. there is nothing makes me want to continue nothing rly got me interested. It's so boring and so hard to complete a chapter u can imagine.. Anyways , good luck for anyone who wants to continue..
